A/C MAINTENANCE CHECKLIST:
- Replace air filter with standard 1″ filter or clean
- Blower motor – check amps and blower wheel
- Thermostat – test for proper operation
- Inspect indoor coil – if accessible
- Condensate drain – blow out if accessible
- Inspect outdoor coil for damage or leaks
- Clean outdoor coil & remove debris
- Check refrigerant charge
- Electrical disconnect – inspect for proper rating/safety
- Electrical wiring – inspect & tighten connections
- Contactor – test & inspect for burnt contacts
- Inspect electrical for exposed wiring
- Test capacitors
- Inspect fan blade
- Check service valves for proper operation
- Measure temperature differential 15-20 degrees
- Compressor – check amps & wiring connections
