Community First 2022 Giving Calendar
At Norman Air we care about our community. These are not just empty words – whether it is working with our clients as if they were our own friends and family, supporting other local businesses, or fundraising for local charities, we proud to be here for our neighbors.
We have planned out Six Months of Giving this year. Below is our fundraising/local support calendar. We will be promoting different charities/groups on our Facebook and Instagram for the duration of each month listed.
Teachers Receive a 10% discount on service calls to celebrate Teacher Appreciation Month.
Fundraising focuses on Hounds of the Heartland, an adoption organization for off-the-race-track Greyhounds. The organization operates out of Oklahoma City Metro area, adopting to homes only in the Oklahoma City metro areas including Bethany, Edmond, Moore, Norman, Mustang, Piedmont, Warr Acres and Yukon. Alzheimer’s Awareness. Many of us have family members impacted by this disease and we are committed to bringing awareness to the need funding for research and support for family members impacted by this disease. Worldwide, 55 million people are living with Alzheimer’s and other dementias. We will be joining with others in the 2022 Ride to End ALZ with a matching funds campaign to raise donations. We will be partnering with Norman Regional Health Foundation and helping with their Paint Out Cancer fundraising campaign! We will be joining with them to raise awareness about many different types of cancer and fundraising to help support research and patient/family support. Learn more about Paint Out Cancer.
We will be giving back to local First Responders in December (Police, Fire, EMS) with a 10% off Service Call Discount. Keeping us safe daily is a huge responsibility and we are forever grateful for their service to our community.
We will be hosting demos and fundraising for Ground Zero Emergency K9 Training Center in Purcell – an organization founded Barry & Becky Switzer in 2017. The center was developed to meet the needs of a critical shortage in emergency search and rescue canines in the United States.
