Plan to Prevent the Spread of COVID-19
As an ESSENTIAL SERVICE PROVIDER, we are doing our part to “flatten the curve” and quell the spread of COVID-19 in our community.
Norman, OK – As news on the coronavirus (COVID-19) changes from minute to minute, the health and safety of our customers, team, and community remain the number one priority of Norman Air. As a locally owned company, we are prepared to continue serving Norman and surrounding areas while exercising expanded health and safety practices.
Due to kids and families working from home and using their HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems at 2x the normal rate, it is imperative that repairs get taken care of immediately.
While Norman Air already works hard to maintain health and safety standards, we are expanding our policies to do our part in “flattening the curve.” These additional measures include:
Checking employee temperatures before each shift
Wearing gloves and shoe covers while in customers’ homes
Issuing hand sanitizer and masks to employees
Practicing safe distances from customers and others
Emailing receipts and estimates and manually entering credit card info so we have no exchanging of credit cards or papers with the customer on service calls.
We are monitoring the situation as it progresses and we are consistently following the guidelines of the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and the World Health Organization (WHO), as well as the policies of our local, state, and federal governments.
As it stands, no Norman Air employees have tested positive for COVID-19. If this changes, we will take action to prevent the further spread of the virus. Additionally, if any employee exhibits symptoms of COVID-19 they will be self-quarantined and relieved of duty until they are healthy and no longer contagious. It is our promise to maintain full transparency with our community.
It is imperative to the initiative of containing the virus that essential systems remain working properly. Norman Air is fully prepared to handle an increase in demand for these services while maintaining current and expanded safety standards.
